It's been really busy so I didn't have time to blog...I've only just started today to get things sorted in the luggage for India but I keep forgetting what other stuff I need to put in :p

Went shopping twice to MeadowHall but I only bought 2 things as my whole family went to get the guys clothes sorted out while us girls/women getting our clothes sorted in India for my cousin's wedding.

Went to watch Rang De Basanti on Saturday and we asked for the 9.45pm showing. The guy who checks your tickets said we are in screen 4 when we got there the film had already started even though we came 15 minutes early before the actual time the show starts!...after a while we realised something was wrong with the movie as it finished in an hour! only to realise the box office gave us the wrong tickets and the ticket guy told us the wrong screen!! I couldn't believe lol.
Knowing most of my family members they started complaining to them for like 15 minutes and it was kinda embarrassing because there was a massive queue at the box office lol. But they gave us free tickets for next time for any new movies which is good. But still I know what the story is all about in the film but I didn't get the chance to see how all the characters are like and how the story develops etc....oh well.

Oh and I'm feeling much more better now :) I don't get that smell anymore since my doctor gave me a nasal spray but I had a blood test and waiting for results just in case it could be something else.

Hoped everyone had a good year! :)

Been a little busy getting the coursework finished and feeling quite unwell at the moment. I got this smokey/gas smell in my nose everytime I breathe in which is really weird and my forehead feels funny. It's not a headache it's like a pressure feeling as if someone is pushing my head.
My doctor told me to have a blood test as she doesn't why I get the smokey smell. So I have to use this nasal spray for a month! :p oh well I just hope it isn't serious later on.

Only 3 weeks left till my cousin get's married in India and I still haven't got anything ready! I bet I will only sort stuff out a few days before departure :p.

This week has gone really quick, seriously! So I'll be making an small post because I'm going to my cousins in a bit to celebrate new year with the whole family :p.

I hoped everyone had a great Christmas! I had an really good Christmas with the whole family...it makes me really happy how much we all get along and finally after so long we played some board games - Absolute Balderdash and Cranium -> and they actually liked it for once :p....we did some karoake as well but I only did one song because I hate singing my voice is really that bad lol. But still I think we had one of the best Christmases in a very long time!

Anyways I hope everyone has a great time tonight and have someone/friends/family to celebrate with.

Hope everyone has a good start of the new year and benefit good things all year round

Feeling a little better these days except for the cough! Christmas on Sunday and we haven't really prepared anything for it so far except for few little decorations.
But can't find the Christmas tree we had for so many years - it's one of those little 3 foot artificial trees :p. I don't think we have ever had a normal size tree that you tend to see in alot of people's houses.

Got some presents even though we are not suppose to give presents this year but what the hell it won't be Xmas without presents, right?

You know when you were younger and you played all these cool board games on Xmas, didn't it use so much fun? But as you get older you play them less and less until it feels like it's not Xmas anymore? It's like that for us, I bought the Cranium board game last Xmas but nobody played it, apparently it looked too hard! when in fact it's not.

The only 'fun' things we do on Christmas is play video games, DVD games like karaoke and watch TV mainly soap specials...it sounds pretty boring but obviously we always add an Asian flavour to Christmas and that's dancing to bhangra and singing hindi songs while everyone else except me get tipsy lol! (I don't drink).


Anyways I hope everyone has a nice weekend and and have a lovely Christmas atmosphere.

No I haven't stopped blogging =p...I really have been busy in this past week - all last week I was starting on my 1st proper coursework (which I was suppose to start 3 weeks ago!) and got it done just in time before the deadline of 12pm this Monday but I don't think I done well on it. I hadn't start IT file (which again I was suppose to start a long time ago lol) till this Tuesday and handed it in just before the deadline yesterday.

I'm really unwell as well. I was fine yesterday until later on when I had temperature, headache feeling sick etc but probably cos I couldn't sleep at all the other night...and the outcome out of this, is that I have flu!. So I feel a little dazy today and I'm speaking really funny lol. I'm glad it happened now rather than earlier on otherwise I would miss lectures and tutorials and probably wouldn't have got all my coursework done.

I can only blog this much because I feel a little funny now but today I can celebrate a little because it's start of my university vacation for the next 3 weeks since beginning of September yay!

I can't believe it's Christmas next Sunday all of a sudden...it doesn't feel very Christmasy (except for TV ads obviously) this year. Apparently this Christmas my aunty said where not giving presents this year but I bet ya there will be! - and everyone's coming for Christmas to our place but we haven't put any Christmas decorations yet. Use to be so fun when you were younger but sometimes you think Christmas as you get older as a day where it's only about presents and commercialism. But I always say it brings the whole family together especially for my family.

oh and my presentation went quite well I think :p I'm just not looking forward to next one as it's going to be an mock court trial and our teacher is going to choose what role we get!

Went to my cousin's house on Friday (the one who just recently got engaged to a girl in India) although we didn't do an suprise party as they came back from India on that day and they were still jet lagged lol. But we went out to a restaurant and it was pretty nice, like a family get together which is what we use to do when we were younger but as you get older it get's less and less.

Watched the engagement on the DVDs made from India although most of them don't work! but the engagement photo album expressed more words and emotions than the DVDs.......it's quite stange to me though as you'd think watching video in life like would express everything but still pictures give more meanings as you interpet it differently and interpet it in many possible ways.

I'm blogging this late because my computer is messed up again and had to restore everything and lost all my files!! argh!.........computer always messes up when you need it the most. Gonna get the computer fixed next week since we break up on 16th from university yay!

Not looking forward to Tuesday morning though because I got the presentation to do and I have the longest part - please help me! =p.

It snowed finally on Monday! although as usual for the British weather it was only just sleet. I still remember when I was very young it use to snow so much that it would grow from about 9-10 inches. Oh well we know why it only sleets rather than snow....it's global warming but where still not doing much about it.

Yesterday we had to do a group presentation and since the last presentation I did was in September (when we introduced ourselves) I had to talk. I was nervous! I just hate speaking in front of people it makes me feel uncomfortable and then I start talking really fast and then can't seem to say some easy words and then start mumbling. It's so embarrassing!
We were the first group to present and I had to speak 1st. I was fine at first until I started muddling up the words! I went bright red lol. The other girl who was doing the presentation with me was so confident and spoked so well and calmly. Why can't I be like that? But then I'm not confident as I hope to be, I just have to learn to be confident otherwise there would be no point of doing Law if your not confident right.
I'm just glad that was over and done with but we have another presentation next week on Draft Bill and I have to talk again! but at least couple of others from my group are speaking too.

Anyways gotta get my research done (although I bet I won't do it tonight, so lazy I know!) cos my coursework needs to be done over a week's time.
I also have to go and help my mum to cook because I really need to learn how to make Indian food =p. Is it just me but do alot of Asian girls cook less Indian food than say about over 10 years ago? because most of the women in my family and relatives who are less than 40 cook less Indian food or don't even know how to cook Indian food!
